About me
I've been in some form of the residential construction and remodeling business since high school. I've worked as a laborer for AWK and Sons during high school in Westfield, NJ. After graduating from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and moving to Nantucket, MA, where I was a reporter for the Inquirer Mirror newspaper. in 1993 I moved to Breckenridge, CO and worked as a ski tech by night and a framer and trim carpenter by day. Except when it snowed. That evolved into project management in the custom residential markets of Eagle, Park and Summit Counties of CO, and subsequent careers in engineering software sales with Keymark Enterprises out of Boulder, CO, engineered wood products sales for Trus Joist then iLevel by Weyerhaeuser and hardwood lumber sales for Northwestst Hardwoods.
I've managed my own construction company, worked for small business enterprises and large corporations. The majority of my career has been spent with one form of Weyerhaeuser or another. First, as a Technical Representative with Trus Joist, where I establish myself as a trusted advisor to builders and Pro-Dealers on all things engineered wood, then a full line rep with the iLevel by Weyerhaeuser group and finally at Hardwood and Industrial Products, where I was a sales manager, selling to large volume wood-based manufacturers and wholesale distributors. I primarily sold S2S hardwood lumber and appearance grade plywood, both domestic and imported.
